The gem carpet is suspended and looks almost ready to fly, hinting to the weave of twisted threads that forms real carpets and symbolically evoking the permanent bonds and coexistence among peoples. "People and their beliefs are inextricably joined as the woven threads of an oriental carpet. I had read this concept expressed by Ghandi with great joy and astonishment after I had already forged ahead with developing the idea of this work". In the 2011 the work was exhibited at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.
